![]() If you are using a vo-gel, make sure the names and probe sets are labeled in the worksheet. You can access the Volcano Plot dialog by clicking the icon in the Apps Gallery. When several t tests are performed, the Graphpad Prism program automatically generates a volcano plot. The volcano plot will be inserted into your document. Once you have the plot set up the way you want it, click on the “OK” button to close the dialog box. In the “X axis” and “Y axis” drop-down menus, select “Linear.” You can also change the minimum and maximum values for the axes if you want. To do this, click on the “Axes” tab in the “Scatterplot” dialog box. GraphPad Prism will automatically scale the axes to fit the data, but you can adjust the scaling if you want. Select the two columns of data you want to plot, then click on the “Insert” menu and select “Scatterplot.” In the “Scatterplot” dialog box, select “Volcano plot” from the “Type” drop-down menu. To make a volcano plot in GraphPad Prism, first open the data file you want to use.
